On Tuesday, December 10, Russian occupiers shelled the city of Zlatopech in the Kharkiv region, reportedly using missiles. As a result of the attack, there are casualties, reported the head of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration, Oleg Synegubov.

The Russians struck Zlatopech around 10:00. A banking institution, other non-residential buildings, and civilian vehicles were damaged in the city. The specific type of missiles used in the attack on Zlatopech has not yet been clarified.

"At this moment, there are five injured. Details are being established," – Oleg Synegubov reported.

Later, the head of the Regional State Administration reported an increase in the number of injured – as of 10:20, there were eight wounded in Zlatopech due to the attack. Repeated missile strikes were recorded in the city.

Subsequently, Oleg Synegubov reported about 10 injured as a result of the attack. According to the head of the Regional State Administration, two more women were injured after a repeated strike that damaged an administrative building.

"In total, 10 people were injured. Among them are two men aged 49 and 59, and eight women aged 29 to 62. Eight people have been hospitalized," – Synegubov stated.

It is worth noting that Zlatopech is located 86 km north of Kharkiv, in the Lozova district. Until September 2024, the city was named Pervomaiske.

Recall that on November 25, occupiers struck the center of Kharkiv, resulting in a fire and damage to residential buildings. As a result of the enemy shelling, 23 people were injured – 16 of whom were hospitalized.
