Companies linked to Medvedchuk and Yermolaev have joined the "white business club" of the State Tax Service.

Two companies from the currently sanctioned group of Yuriy Boyko were also among the "white businesses."

The list of companies with high levels of tax trust (commonly referred to as the "white business club"), approved by the State Tax Service, includes businesses linked to sanctioned individuals. This information was published by the monitoring service "Opendatabot" on Tuesday, January 21.

It is noted that at the beginning of the full-scale invasion, 24 companies on the list had owners from Russia. As of now, there is officially no Russian connection in any of these businesses.

According to "Opendatabot," among the trusted list of the State Tax Service are companies that have joint ventures with sanctioned individuals, specifically:

  • with the group of brothers Kozak, whose owners are connected to the group of Viktor Medvedchuk (Taras Kozak owned the channels "112 Ukraine," NewsOne, and ZIK);
  • with the group of companies "Alef," owned by sanctioned businessman Vadim Yermolaev. The corporation unites companies in the fields of agribusiness, development, and industry;
  • with the private gas extraction company Burisma Group, owned by former ecology minister during Yanukovych's time Mykola Zlochevsky. The businessman is included in the Register of Corrupt Officials.

"Already after the list was published, sanctions were imposed on Yuriy Boyko — two businesses from his group (companies involved in energy resource trading, including gas – ed.) are also among the white businesses," the report states.

In total, the "white business club" includes 7,997 companies. According to the State Tax Service, most of these companies are located in Kyiv and Dnipropetrovsk region. 42% of the companies, or 3.3 thousand businesses from the club, earn between 10 to 100 million UAH annually. Another 177 companies (2.2%) earn over 1 billion UAH.

In the wholesale trade sector, 16% or 1,275 companies from the white list operate, while in agriculture, there are 1,120 businesses (14%). Real estate is handled by 675 companies (8.4%), and the maintenance of buildings and territories is managed by 359 companies (4.5%). In the medical field, there are 312 companies (3.9%).

As reported by ZAXID.NET, on January 19, President Volodymyr Zelensky imposed sanctions against Russian propagandists and former members of parliament, including Nestor Shufrych, Yevhen Murayev, and Yuriy Boyko. The latter was stripped of state awards, including the title of Hero of Ukraine.
