For the well-known Ukrainian corporation ATB, the past year was not only a taxing marathon but also a period of store recovery, support for the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), unprecedented challenges, digital solutions, and new socially significant projects.
Across various regions of the country, 47 new stores opened their doors to customers (bringing the total number of supermarkets to 1,257), while another eleven were modernized. This resulted in the creation of over 3,500 new jobs and a significant increase in tax and fee payments.
Throughout 2024, ATB enterprises contributed 30.7 billion UAH to budgets at all levels (this figure is preliminary; the final number will be known at the end of January). The retail turnover of the ATB network was estimated at 248.3 billion UAH, exceeding last year's figures by 15%.
In 2024, the amount of charitable assistance from ATB to Ukrainian defenders crossed the historic mark of 2 billion UAH. This information was shared on the Facebook page of ATB's General Director and Chairman of the Board Boris Markov.
Thanks to ATB's charitable initiatives, the Defense Forces have already received over a thousand units of new special equipment, as well as a similar number of indispensable drones for modern warfare. And this is just the beginning. More than 4,500 ATB employees have taken up arms to defend the country, voluntarily joining the AFU, National Guard, and Territorial Defense Forces.
In response to the challenges of the time, the network's stores were equipped with alternative energy sources — powerful generators (covering 98% of the network) and solar panels. Kits for installing solar energy systems in private households (panels, inverters, etc.) have even become available for sale at significant discounts.
Additionally, throughout the year, numerous digital solutions were implemented. This includes the updated mobile app "ATB 2.0", which effectively created a convenient ecosystem with useful services and has already surpassed one million downloads. The services "E-check" and "ATB Wallet" also became operational.
At the end of the year, a significant event took place in ATB's history — the launch of a new private label brand "Day by Day". This product line guarantees quality and affordability (positioned between the most economical option TM "Smart Choice" and the mid-range segment "Own Line"), covering nearly all categories of goods (fresh, food, non-food).
As we can see, the year was extremely challenging, yet rich in achievements and filled with hope for a peaceful future.
