The Nadvirna District Court found local clinic family doctor Lyubomyr Droniv guilty of unauthorized actions involving information processed in automated systems. For entering over ten declarations into the electronic health care system without patient consent, the doctor was fined 51,000 UAH.
As stated in the court ruling issued on January 8, doctor Lyubomyr Droniv of Nadvirna Ambulatory No. 1, during 2022-2024, accessed the database of the National Health Service of Ukraine and entered false information regarding the signing of 12 declarations without patient consent.
On December 10, 2024, the doctor entered into a plea agreement with the prosecutor. As a result, Judge Roman Solodovnikov found Lyubomyr Droniv guilty of unauthorized actions involving information processed in automated systems and imposed a fine of 51,000 UAH without depriving him of the right to hold positions in health care authorities and institutions.
According to information from the Helsi medical system, Lyubomyr Droniv worked at the Nadvirna Central District Hospital from 1995 to 2018 and has been a family doctor at the local primary medical care center since 2018.
