The Polish Foreign Minister brought a downed Russian drone from Ukraine to the U.S.

The head of the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Radosław Sikorski, brought a downed Russian Shahed drone from Ukraine to a conservative conference in the United States. This was reported by the Polish minister on social media platform X.

According to Radosław Sikorski, the strike drone Shahed was shot down by Ukrainian forces. It was initially brought to Poland, from where he transported it.

“The Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) in Washington is one of the most influential political events in the world. This year, attendees will have the opportunity to see the drone downed by Ukrainians and provided by Poland, a symbol of the death of thousands of innocents: the Iranian 'Shahed' drone,” noted Radosław Sikorski.

Radosław Sikorski mentioned that U.S. President Donald Trump is likely to attend the conference on Saturday, February 22.

It is worth noting that Russians attack Ukraine with strike drones every night. On the night of February 21, Russian military forces launched 160 strike drones at Ukraine.

Additionally, according to information from the Polish site Rzeczpospolita, Radosław Sikorski flew to the U.S. on February 20 at Washington's request. There, the Polish minister was scheduled to meet with Secretary of State Marco Rubio.

Recall that on January 15, Polish President Andrzej Duda called on NATO countries to invite Ukraine to join the alliance during a joint press conference with Volodymyr Zelensky in Warsaw.
