Kyiv photographer Oleksandr Ktytorchuk has been found guilty of rape and the corruption of minors. He has been sentenced to 12 years and 10 months in prison. This was reported on Friday, January 10, by the Office of the Prosecutor General and National Police. It should be noted that the convict's name is not disclosed, but details of the case indicate that it concerns photographer Oleksandr Ktytorchuk.
Prosecutors in court demonstrated that the man repeatedly raped minor girls and engaged in lewd acts from 2017 to 2020, particularly when they came to him for photo sessions.
Oleksandr Ktytorchuk was arrested in November 2020. At that time, law enforcement established that the man had committed lewd acts against a 15-year-old girl in a car. Investigators also found that over several years, he had committed lewd acts against a 17-year-old girl and other unidentified minor girls in the Kyiv and Obukhiv regions.
In May 2022, law enforcement determined that Oleksandr Ktytorchuk had committed a total of 18 sexual offenses. Specifically, he was suspected of seven counts of rape, three counts of corruption of minors, as well as seven counts of producing and distributing pornographic materials and sexual violence.
According to law enforcement, the man committed his crimes while photographing girls and in a specially equipped vehicle.
The court has now found Oleksandr Ktytorchuk guilty of rape, corruption of minors, and the production of pornographic materials (Articles 152, 156, and 301 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). He has been sentenced to 12 years and 10 months of imprisonment. Additionally, he is prohibited from engaging in any activities related to working with minors for a period of three years.
