«Динамо» в матче с двумя не реализованными пенальти проиграло немецкому «Магдебургу».

On Friday, January 10, Kyiv's "Dynamo" played its first friendly match during the winter training camp in Turkey. The opponent of the "white-blues" was the representative of the second Bundesliga – "Magdeburg". The Germans had already played one friendly in the morning, where they decisively defeated Hannover with a score of 3:0. The slight loss of form by "Magdeburg" did not aid "Dynamo", which suffered its first defeat in the training camp.

Friendly Match

“Magdeburg” (Germany) – “Dynamo” Kyiv (Ukraine) – 3:1

Goals: Njombe, 3, Atik, 12, Jugone, 84 – Buyalskyi, 87

Missed Penalties: Shaparenko, 28 (“Dynamo”), Buyalskyi, 71 (“Dynamo”)

“Dynamo” conceded as early as the 3rd minute: Njombe was first to the rebound and accurately struck into the bottom corner from about 25 meters. It was not even ten minutes before the Kyiv team had to retrieve the ball from the net for the second time: the Turkish forward Atik escaped from Okon, who is currently on trial with Shovkovskyi's team, and lobbed the ball over the "white-blues" goalkeeper. The Germans continued to apply pressure and could have scored again, but the Ukrainians were saved by the post.

Midway through the half, “Dynamo” earned a penalty – Shaparenko went down after being fouled. The victim himself took the penalty but failed to beat the goalkeeper. Shovkovskyi immediately responded with a triple substitution, bringing on Ponomarenko, Salenko, and Dyachuk for Guerrero, Pikhalko, and Mykhavko. In the 33rd minute, Geber was just a little unlucky, heading the ball narrowly past the post of “Dynamo's” goal.

In the middle of the second half, “Dynamo” earned another penalty (for a harsh tackle by the opponent). Buyalskyi approached the ball but repeated Shaparenko's fate, failing to outsmart the goalkeeper. Toward the end of the match, both teams exchanged goals: firstly, Jugone headed in a corner kick, and shortly after, Buyalskyi redeemed himself for the missed penalty and scored from open play.

“Dynamo” has two more friendlies ahead: on January 13 against Polish "Widzew" and on January 16 against Bulgarian CSKA 1948.
