Due to a large-scale cyberattack by Russian hackers on Ukrainian state registries, the administrative service centers (ЦНАП) in the Lviv community have suspended several services. This was reported on December 20 by Valentina Bartoshik, the head of the Department of Humanitarian Policy of the Lviv City Council.

Additionally, it is currently impossible to process the appointment and payment of certain types of assistance that require a birth certificate (when children are part of the family), specifically:
“Those who submitted documents for these services prior to this situation will unfortunately not have their applications processed either; they will need to wait until the registries are fully operational again. We cannot yet provide a timeline for the restoration of services, as we are awaiting official information from service providers,” – stated Valentina Bartoshik.

Recall that on December 19, Ukrainian state registries experienced the most extensive cyberattack in recent times. The attack was organized by Russians with the intent to disrupt the operations of the country's critical infrastructure. The Russian hackers involved in the attack claimed to have destroyed all data from the agency they accessed, including backup copies on servers in Poland.
